Mayor Pagbilao orders Saguday lockdown after confirmed ASF cases

Saguday Mayor Marcelina Pagbilao has ordered a lockdown in the town because of the African Swine Fever (ASF).

The move is meant to help contain the spread of ASF.

The Quirino politiko said that the blood samples taken from the pigs that died in Barangay La Paz were positive of ASF.

The provinces of Cagayan, Isabela, and Nueva Vizcaya earlier recorded cases of ASF in their areas.

Now only Batanes remains ASF-free in Region 2.
