Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong said he is not suspending the operations of the night market along Harrison Road amid the novel coronavirus (nCoV) scare.
The Baguio politiko maintained that the situation is under control.
Magalong also said that closing the night market means that he also has to close other public spaces in the city like the public market.
The city government earlier suspended the grand opening of the Panagbenga Festival and the Cordillera Administrative Region Athletic Association (CARAA).
Magalong said he wants most activities in the city to go on as normal amid the virus scare.
