Mayor Magalong to residents: Stay home for non-essential activities

Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong called on residents to err on the side of caution amid the easing of restrictions amid the coronavirus disease (COVID19) pandemic.

The Baguio politiko has allowed residents to go outside for social and physical activities.

Magalong explained that physical activities are necessary for the residents’ wellbeing.

“If it is not essential, or if it is an area where your family members may be exposed to risks of COVID19 transmission, then let us err on the side of caution and just stay home,” he said.

“When at home, wash your hands, change clothes before spending time with family, disinfect your doorknobs and other frequently touched surfaces in the home, and monitor each other for flu-like symptoms,” Magalong added.
