Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong said there is a need to think two steps ahead in the battle against the coronavirus disease (COVID19).
The Baguio politiko said he has applied this principle in the city government’s policies and response during the COVID19 pandemic.
“We had to be proactive and thinking of the long-term,” Magalong said.
“We had to be forward-looking and always one or two steps in advance,” he added.
Magalong also emphasized the need for a sense of urgency.
“Acting late without any sense of urgency would lead to a big consequence,” he said.
