Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong said the city government will allocate P100 million for the procurement of vaccines for the coronavirus disease (COVID19).
The Baguio politiko said he is set to sign a confidentiality agreement with a pharmaceutical company.
Magalong said the amount will get the Summer Capital more than 200,000 doses of the vaccine.
Once the tripartite agreement is finalized, the vaccines are expected to be available in Baguio by the third or fourth quarter of this year.
Magalong also said a private firm has committed to donate 10,000 doses of the vaccine.
