Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong said it is unlikely that there will be a total lockdown of the Summer Capital amid the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) crisis.
The city government is waiting for the results of several probable COVID-19 cases.
Magalong urged residents to cooperate because everyone is adjusting to the situation.
“What we need now is utmost understanding and cooperation from our constituents because we are on the process of adjusting to the situation and perfecting the system,” he said.
“We have to make the necessary adjustments because we understand the predicament of our residents who are heavily impacted by the restrictions that are currently being imposed,” Magalong added.
