Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong said he refused to accept Uniwide Sales and Realty Development Corporation’s new development proposal for the Summer Capital’s public market.
The Baguio politiko said he recently met with Uniwide’s new lawyers who proposed that the company still be part of the market development project.
Uniwide supposedly wants to recover the P300 million it lost during the pendency of the public market development case.
But Magalong said the proposal was unacceptable.
He also said the city government will pursue the development of the public market with Baguio’s stakeholders instead.
