Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong said small gestures will boost the morale of medical frontliners.
The Baguio politiko said medical frontliners are the public’s lifeline during the coronavirus disease (COVID19) pandemic.
“We are all aware of the gargantuan tasks our health workers – doctors, interns, nurses, nursing aides, medical assistants and all others in the medical field – are courageously and dedicatedly discharging nowadays amid the COVID19 affliction,” Magalong said.
“They are our lifeline. Without them, we cannot survive this health crisis,” he added.
Magalong said that the public cannot survive the pandemic without medical frontliners.
“It goes without saying that they, too, are putting their own lives on the line for us. Not a few of them had died frontlining for us,” he said.
