Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong said he is not afraid to pursue unpopular but effective programs in the Summer Capital.
The Baguio politiko said that he is only thinking of the work to be done in the next three years and not the 2022 elections.
Magalong said he is “not after getting votes or establishing any mass base.”
One of the unpopular moves he is eyeing is the proposed increase in the schedule of real property market values and business taxes.
He also said that if the proposal is the “right thing to do” then he will support it.
“I can assure you that I have set my sights only for the next three years,” Magalong added.
