Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong said the reopening of the Summer Capital’s tourism industry on September is still not set in stone.
The Baguio politiko made the remark during the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Baguio Tourism Council.
Magalong said certain conditions have to be met before the tourism sector can resume operations.
He explained that the situation in Metro Manila should first normalize and that there will be no second wave of the coronavirus disease (COVID19) pandemic in Baguio.
Magalong also said the city government is set to implementecovery and resiliency programs for the tourism industry to cushion the effects of COVID19.
