Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong said the city government is “on top of the situation” despite the recent spike in coronavirus disease (COVID19) cases in the Summer Capital.
The Baguio politiko made the remark after the OCTA Research group identified Baguio, Lucena, Makati, and Mandaluyong as high risk areas because of spikes in COVID19 cases.
Magalong said the city government’s COVID19 response is science-based.
“We are using data analytical tools to detect the cases. We are increasing our isolation facilities. We have a cooperative community and a very good team behind us,” he said.
“So over all, we have nothing to worry about. We remain on top of the situation,” Magalong added.
