Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong on October 5 said the Summer Capital has enough contact tracers to deal with the coronavirus disease (COVID19) pandemic.
The Baguio politiko made the remark during the oath taking of 176 newly hired contact tracers.
“They underwent selection process based on their qualifications as well as proper training from our key contact tracing personnel,” Magalong said.
“The city now has enough contact tracers with the addition of the newly hired ones,” he added.
Magalong also called on the new hires to keep themselves safe.
“I don’t want anyone of you to be part of that statistics,” he said.
