Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong said the national government’s recent moves to address the coronavirus disease (COVID19) pandemic came a bit late.
The Baguio politiko was recently appointed as “contact tracing czar” by President Rodrigo Duterte to help in the government’s efforts amid the coronavirus disease (COVID19) pandemic.
“I believe this would be the most responsive model na nagawa ng ating Secretary Galvez,” Magalong said.
But he said it was already “crunch time.”
“Parang sa basketball, parang nasa crunch time tayo, pinasok tayo last five minutes tapos lamang yung kalaban ng mga 30 points,” Magalong said.
“But you know it’s not impossible. You have just to be optimistic about it. You have to be dynamic. You have to innovate,” he added.
