Dagupan City Mayor Brian Lim vowed to provide the needs of all medical frontliners battling the coronavirus disease (COVID19).
The Dagupan politiko explained that medical frontliners must be protected from COVID19.
“I assured them, the city government will provide all their needs — PPE (personal protective equipment), mask, face masks, disinfection, and even vehicles,” Lim said.
“We do not want our medical front-liners getting sick,” he added.
Moreover, the city government has converted the Dagupan City People’s Astrodome as a patient care center for patients under investigation (PUIs) and persons under monitoring (PUMs).
Thirty modular tents have been set up inside the astrodome.
“We made sure of the distance, male and female tents are separated in a cluster. There is also an allocation for pedia patients, which will house aged 15 years old and below. The food will be provided by the city government, it is being coordinated with the City Nutrition Office,” said Dr. Ophelia Rivera, Dagupan’s COVID19 focal person.
