Laoag City Mayor Michael Marcos Keon is touched how his kailians are generous in donating to frontliners battling the COVID-19 pandemic.
The politiko said this as he acknowledged several donors in a Facebook post on Saturday, March 28.
“It’s so heartwarming to witness the overwhelming generosity of our kailians in this time of crisis. Donations have poured in for the much needed supplies like food and face-shields for our frontliners and first-responders who were deployed to contain the spread of the deadly coronavirus in our city,” Keon said.
“Further, relief goods and cash donations have also started to pour in to strengthen the relief operations being conducted by the City Social Welfare and Development Office,” he added.
