Mayor Estrañero: Tabuk’s contact tracers ‘really exhausted’ amid COVID19 spike

Tabuk City Mayor Darwin Estrañero said the city’s contact tracers are “really exhausted.”

The Tabuk politiko made the remark amid the continuous increase in coronavirus disease (COVID19) cases in the city.

“It has also been reported by our CHO (City Health Office) that the close contacts of those COVID-infected kakailyans had gone too deep isu nga ma overwhelm ti existing facilities tayo for quarantine para kadagiti aguray ti swab results da and isolation for those who are confirmed positive with the virus,” Estrañero said.

He said the city government might hire more health personnel to augment the current work force.

“Our contact tracers are really exhausted in going after infected individuals that they requested our office to hire some more health personnel like nurses to to help them in this activity and also to help irelieve our personnel in our treatment facilities,” Estrañero said.
