Baguio City Mayor Mauricio Domogan reminded Itogon Mayor Victorio Palangdan he is ready to meet anywhere and anytime to address the municipality’s concerns on the proposed integrated solid waste disposal facility at the Antamok open pit area.
Palangdan did not show up in an earlier meeting with Domogan.
The Baguio politiko said the long overdue solid waste disposal facility will benefit not only the Summer Capital but the rest of the Baguio-La Trinidad-Itogon-Sablan-Tuba-Tublay (BLISTT) area.
“We want Itogon officials to raise their issues and concerns in the proper forum so that the concerned government agencies and the city government will be able to satisfactorily respond to them,” Domogan said.
“We also want to know their demands, whether or not it will be realistic, so that we will be able to discuss with them the way to go with the project so as to save on time, effort and resources of people involved in the matter,” he added.
