Baguio City Mayor Mauricio Domogan called on the feuding officials of the Department of Transportation-Cordillera (DOTr-CAR) to put aside their differences and work together for the interest of the public.
The Baguio politiko said the rift between DOTr-CAR regional director Jose Eduardo Natividad and his deputy Mahammad Naser Abbas is hindering the agency’s implementation of its programs.
“We want both director Natividad and Abbas to get their acts together because what is being compromised in their current rift is the greater interest of the public,” Domogan said.
He also said he will wait for the results of DOTr central office’s probe into the issue.
“We understand that the two DOTr-CAR officials are already being investigated by their central office so we will simply await the resolution of higher authorities on the charges against them if there is no way for them to shape up,” Domogan said.
