Mayor Domogan: Thai companies keen on relocating to BLISST

Baguio City Mayor Mauricio Domogan said several Thai companies are keen on establishing operations in the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) in Loakan.

The Baguio politiko said the Thai-based companies will make a visit in 2018.

“The meeting with the Thai ambassador was fruitful as he committed the visits of officials of some Thailand-based companies to our city anytime next year to study the possibility of setting up business either in the city or in suitable places within the BLISTT that will help generate jobs for our constituents and improve the economic activities and sources of livelihood for our people,” Domogan said.

He said the expansion of the Thai-based companies will boost the Baguio-La Trinidad-Itogon-Sablan-Tuba-Tublay (BLISTT) economy.

The recent visit the Thai Embassy to recommend Baguio City as a potential site for operations of Thai companies.
