Baguio City Mayor Mauricio Domogan is hopeful the city council will the Summer Capital’s 2018 budget within the 90-day grace period.
The Baguio city government is temporarily operating on a reenacted budget because the city council is still deliberating on the proposed P2-billion budget.
Domogan said passing the proposed budget on time will allow the city government to implement the priority development projects on time.
He also said delaying the passage of the proposed budget will also mean delay in the delivery of basic services.
Domogan also urged Baguio residents to be patient with the city council.
