Baguio City Mayor Mauricio Domogan said the Baguio City Mayor the fencing of the Busol watershed will be replicated in the Summer Capital’s other watersheds.
The Baguio politiko said the move will protect the watersheds from informal settlers.
The Department of Environment and Natural Resources released P18 million worth of funds for the fencing of the Busol watershed.
“We always made the preservation and protection of the environment as one of our priorities,” Domogan said.
“It is our forests that help maintain the city’s cool weather condition that is our natural pull for visitors to spend their well-deserved break in our city,” he added.
