Baguio City Mayor Mauricio Domogan is eyeing better security for tourists in the Summer Capital.
The Baguio politiko, to address this concern, signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on June 27 with the Department of Tourism (DOT) Cordillera, and the Police Regional Office Cordillera (Procor) to strengthen security measures for tourists.
Domogan said he wants tourists to be treated like VIPs (very important persons).
“Let us always take care of our responsibility to maintain the reputation of our city as a peaceful city, because tourism is our front-line in achieving sustainable economy,” he said.
Domogan explained he wants tourists to always come back to the Summer Capital.
