Lingayen Mayor Leopoldo Bataoil has ordered the imposition of a liquor ban amid the spike in coronavirus disease (COVID19) cases in the capital town.
The liquor ban will be from January 14 to March 31.
Lingayen currently has 24 coronavirus disease (COVID19) cases.
The Pangasinan politiko said drinking in public places attracts crowds and leads to non-observance of social distancing.
Dagupan City, Calasiao, and Binmaley earlier imposed liquor bans.
