Mankayan Mayor Frenzel Ayong said the municipal government has enough isolation facilities in case of another spike in coronavirus disease (COVID19) cases in the town.
The Benguet politiko made the remark during an interview with Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) Secretary Martin Andanar.
Ayong said the municipal government have learned from its experience when COVID19 cases surged in the Lepanto mine camp last December.
He said Mankayan had around 500 cases last December.
But Ayong said the town can handle around 600 cases.
