Bauko Mayor Abraham Akilit said the town will be on lockdown from March 22 to 23 amid the spread of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
The Mountain Province politiko said the move aims to help stop the spread of the viral disease into the town.
Bauko will be locked down from 8AM on March 22 to 8AM on March 23.
Akilit said only those with urgent needs will be allowed to go in and out of Bauko.
He also called on residents of other municipalities for understanding if they will be turned away at the town’s borders.
