Former Ilocos Sur Governor Luis “Chavit” Singson revealed that he declined acquisition of the Miss Universe franchise.
In an interview, the Politiko shared that it was offered to him, but he declined. “Binibigay sa akin pero hindi ko binili kasi masyadong matrabaho. Sabi ko, tutulong na lang ako,” he said.
He also noted that the current owner of Miss Universe Anne Jakrajutatip is inviting him to Thailand for a meeting.
