Masakit pa rin: Mayor Jose-Quiambao misses late mother

Bayambang, Pangasinan Mayor Niña Jose-Quiambao got emotional as she recalled memories with her late mother, who would have turned 66 on Tuesday, July 12.

The North Luzon politiko posted a Facebook video of her mom’s last birthday celebration. For Jose-Quiambao, the passing of her mother last January was still too painful to recall.

“You left us so abruptly, I cannot fathom up to now everything that transpired. January 27 was a blur. Everything after that is a blur. My life up to now, is sometimes a blur,” said Jose-Quiambao.

She said she’s only able to survive thanks to her husband, former mayor Cezar Quiambao, and her loved ones, but it isn’t the same without her mother by her side.

Jose-Quiambao lamented she could have given her mom so much more.

“But I am still partly dead, I truly believe I died with you that day. You deserved all the happiness snd joy and serenity in the world, I feel I couldve given. It is so heartbreaking to live with regrets. I could’ve given more. I could’ve loved more. It is truly NEVER enough. I love you mommy. I miss you so much,” said the mourning mayor.
