Baguio City Representative Mark Go said he will continue to push for the development of roads connecting barangays.
The Baguio politiko said he will “exert our best efforts” to bring House Bill No. 6014 or Barangay Road Development Bill “to the finish line.”
Go lamented how many barangays in the Summer Capital are still isolated because of poor road conditions.
“We need to connect our barangays to the business centers as a catalyst towards more economic activity,” he said.
“The Barangay roads are often neglected because the budget comes from the local government. Through the proposed measure, 20% of DPWH ‘s infrastructure budget will be used to support the construction and development of barangay roads,” Go added.
