Baguio City Representative Mark Go on October 5 said the teaching profession will always have a “special place” in his heart.
The Baguio politiko said he and his wife used to teach in the University of the Philippines-Baguio before getting married.
Go made remark on the celebration of World Teacher’s Day.
“In the 1970s, before my wife and I started our family, we ourselves were teachers of political science, history, and economics in UP Baguio,” he said.
“The passion of our educators and institutions here in the city is unparalleled if only to ensure that every child regardless of his background, is provided with quality and holistic education. For that alone, I am truly proud to represent our breed of exemplary and dedicated teachers in Congress,” Go added.
