Baguio City Representative Mark Go has lost the support of an indigenous peoples (IP) group for his reelection.
IGOrotak convenor Sonny Bugnosen said the Baguio politiko has not been supportive of IP issues especially on ancestral domain.
Bugnosen said Go failed to establish an IP desk in his office that will cater to concerns of IPs.
He explained that they made the request early during his first term as Baguio lawmaker.
“We simply requested Mr. Go to put up an IP desk in his office to cater to the concerns of the indigenous peoples but we were disappointed on his response that his office is not only for a single group which was not the purpose of the request,” Bugnosen stressed.
