Baguio City Representative Mark Go last July 30 said the coronavirus disease (COVID19) pandemic should be seen as an opportunity to review the effectiveness of the current educational system.
The Baguio politiko made the remark during the his parliamentary speech at the open forum of the “Parliamentary Partnership on Educational and Cultural Cooperation for Sustainable Development” Virtual Conference.
He said education should not be forgotten amid the many challenges during the pandemic.
“Let us look at education not as a casualty in the tug of war between health and livelihood during this COVID19 pandemic, rather it should be an enabler,” Go said.
“We can achieve this by first making a review of the current content and mode of learning so that we can change and adapt to the times,” he added.
