Baguio City Representative Mark Go said that people recognize those who do good.
The Baguio politiko said his reelection victory proved this.
“To the people of Baguio, I am deeply humbled by your overwhelming support. They say that working in the government is a thankless job, but this re-election shows that when you do good, the people would recognize,” Go said.
The support you so graciously gave me only reinforced my belief that indeed it is worth working for our people, not for the recognition as I am only doing my job, but because your support on my vision, principles, and passion manifests that we share the same commitment to public interest and excellence in service,” he added.
Go said he wants to “to cement a culture of principled leadership and service in every level of the bureaucracy.”
“Our city has heard our battlecry for change, our resounding call against traditional politics, and now we shall let them see how we work hand in hand in achieving our collective aspirations for Baguio, in fortifying a vision that shall stand mightier than any challenge that may come our way, in pursuing a development path that would lift us all together, and leaves no man behind,” he said.
