Former senator Bongbong Marcos’ lawyer Vic Rodriguez called on Vice President Leni Robredo to “shut her mouth” if she does not have any “sensible matter to say” on the ballot recount in connection to the electoral protest against her.
Robredo earlier implied that the Marcos camp was behind the so-called insider information from the ballot recount cited in several news reports that her votes have already decreased by 21,000.
She called the news reports as a “huge PR stunt.”
Rodriguez urged Robredo to respect the “sub judice” rule.
“At this moment, it would be best if she just follow our lead in observing silence, shut her mouth for lack of sensible matter to say and accord utmost respect to members of the media and the Tribunal’s resolution on sub judice,” he said.
