The Baguio City Health Services Office (CHSO) reported an increase in HIV-AIDS cases.
The Reproductive Health and Wellness Center (RHWC) of the CHSO under Dr. Kea Ville Basbasan said this report is based on the trend established in community outreach programs for HIV-AIDS, where targeted community-based testings are conducted and reactive cases are captured.
In 2021, national health data showed that the average number of daily cases was 34 per day for the whole year but this year from January to March, the average has risen to 39 cases a day.
