A lot of Filipinos took a trip down memory line when eight sporting legends graced the opening ceremony of the 30th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games on Saturday, November 30.
But a year before, several of the same icons also participated during the 2018 Palarong Pambansa held in Ilocos Sur.
On Sunday, December 1, Governor Ryan Singson shared a photo collage of the 30th SEA Games along with the 2018 Palarong Pambansa, which featured Rafael “Paeng” Nepomuceno, Hidilyn Diaz, Elma Muros-Posadas, Mansueto “Onyok” Velasco, Luis Gabriel Moreno, Efren “Bata” Reyes, Eric Buhain, and Eugenio Torre carrying a giant Philippine flag during the Parade of Colors.
“Top: Ilocos Sur Palarong Pambansa 2018. Bottom: Philippines 2019 SEA GAMES #WeWinAsOne #sureilocossur,” the politiko said in the caption.
