Pangasinan 4th District Representative Christopher “Toff” De Venecia’s pet bill designed to protect and promote creative industries in the country is one step away from hurdling the House of Representatives.
On Monday, September 13, the House approved on second reading House Bill (HB) Number 10107 or the proposed Philippine Creative Industries Development Bill.
This means HB 10107 just needs its third and final reading to be passed by the House.
De Venecia celebrated the milestone in an Instagram post.
“Celebrating a milestone for the creative industries! The Philippine Creative Industries Development Bill was passed today on 2nd Reading in the Lower House. Woot woot!!! #TheFutureIsCreative,” De Venecia said.
