La Union Governor Emmanuel “Pacoy” Ortega III is determined to keep working despite testing positive for the coronavirus.
The politiko himself spearheaded the virtual meeting of the Provincial Core Team Against COVID-19 with members of the Cabinet on Monday, September 13. Ortega is currently under quarantine while he is recovering from COVID-19.
“Work never stops. We, in the Provincial Core Team Against CoViD-19 (PCTAC) together with the Cabinet Members, virtually met yesterday, September 13, 2021. Our team at the PGLU still performs at optimal level despite my physcial absence, ensuring that there is continuous planning, monitoring and implementation of a more aggressive CoVid-19 response, and of other vital activities that shall provide aid to our frontliners and to the rest of our people,” said Ortega.
“Let us sustain vigilance in our everyday activities. The execution of these plans shall be successful with the cooperation of everyone in our province. Together, we will ensure a #StrongerLaUnion,” he added.
