An Italian national believed to be a high value target in the government’s anti-drug war was arrested in Bauang, La Union this week.
Police seized dried marijuana leaves and illegal drugs worth P34,000 from Paolo Guindoni a.k.a. “Kano” following his arrest in Barangay Baccuit last July 30.
Guindoni, 47, is married and a resident of Baccuit Norte. It was not known whether his wife is a Filipina (http://northboundasia.com/2019/08/01/italian-national-arrested-for-illegal-drugs/).
The arrest stemmed from the police serving a search warrant issued by Sto. Tomas, La Union Municipal Trial Court Judge Bernadette Badecao-Abnasan.
Guindoni faces charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
