Senator Imee Marcos on September 18 called on the University of the Philippines Diliman (UP Diliman) to present her family’s side in the Martial Law course that will be offered in the school next semester.
The Ilocos Norte made the statement in reaction to the addition of the Martial Law subject in the university’s general education curriculum.
But Marcos said that while she believes in academic freedom, UP only gives it to one perspective.
“Problema kasi, ang academic freedom, freedom lang sa isang pangkat, walang freedom sa iba,” she said.
