Senator Imee Marcos wants to help ease commuters’ woes by officially recognizing the services of motorcycle-hailing app Angkas as a public utility vehicle (PUV).

The Ilocano politiko has filed a bill that would recognize motorcycles as PUVs.

Marcos posted a picture of herself riding the motorcycle of presidential daughter, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio, when they were shooting for one of Marcos’ campaign ads for the May elections.

“Kilalanin natin ang #Angkas bilang isang ganap na PUV!” said Marcos.
