Senator Imee Marcos gloated over the 2022 electoral victory of her brother and now President-elect Ferdinand Marcos Jr. in her interview with veteran journalist Karen Davila on Wednesday, June 1.
At the start of of Davila’s ANC Headstart show, the North Luzon politiko joked that she’s surprised the journalist was still in the Philippines following her brother’s win.
“It’s nice to see you’re still here in the Philippines. Akala ko magma-migrate ka ‘pag nanalo ang Marcos,” said Marcos.
Davila was unfazed, however. She just laughed off Marcos’ remark and said she’s always hoping for the best for the country.
This is the entire exchange between @iamkarendavila and Sen. Imee Marcos which the trolls are gleefully feasting on. But the problem is, they cut the part where Davila said “hoping always for the best for the country.” pic.twitter.com/ifUGo9cYL8
