Ilocos Norte to hire 220 tourism ambassadors for summer tourist influx

The Ilocos Norte provincial government announced that they are hiring over 200 “tourism ambassadors” as preparation for the anticipated influx of tourists this summer season.

Ilocos Norte Tourism Office (INTO) head Aianree Raquel said that the ambassadors will serve as tourist guides, aides, and storytellers in different local destinations in the province. She noted that they are looking to hire at least 220 individuals to assist the government in

They will also assist the provincial government in serving as utility at least 42 tourist centers across the province, starting March until the end of the summer season.

“We are again accepting applicants for our summer tourism program to help us welcome visitors in the province,” Raquel said, noting that applicants should be at least 18 years old and have an interest in tourism work. Required documents are a biodata or resume, a certificate of indigence, and a valid identification card.
