Higpitan na din: One more Ilocos Norte town placed under MECQ

Governor Matthew Manotoc, through an Executive Order, placed the coastal town of Currimao under an indefinite localized modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) due to the steady increase of active COVID-19 cases.

The Politiko announced on Monday afternoon that the municipality of Currimao will join Bangui, Dingras, Dumalneg, Marcos, Pagudpud, Paoay, Pasuquin, and Solsona towns under the second strictest lockdown in the country.

Gov. Manotoc reminded locals that the lgu is strictly implementing curfew hours from 9:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m., and liquor ban to regulate the movement of people and avoid social gatherings under MECQ.
