Ex-senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. heaped praises on former president Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo as she celebrated her birthday on Monday, April 5.

The Ilocano politiko called the former commander-in-chief as an “exemplary” leader as he greeted Arroyo a happy birthday on Twitter.

“A happy birthday to an exemplary lady, leader, and friend. Wishing you many more to come!” Marcos tweeted.

Arroyo turned 74 years old on Monday.
