Gov Singson reports ‘highly probable case’ of coronavirus in Ilocos Sur


Ilocos Sur Governor Ryan Singson said there is now a “highly probable case” of the novel coronavirus in the province.

This was announced by the politiko in an Instagram post on Monday, March 23.

“I regret to inform you that as of today, March 23, 2020, 8:00 in the evening, we have a highly probable case of coronavirus disease in our province,” Singson said.

The patient is a 34-year-old male driver of the Maria De Leon bus line.

Singson then ordered to put Barangays San Vicente and Magsingal under extreme enhanced community quarantine. Residents of these two barangays are now required to undergo home quarantine.
