Ilocos Norte Governor Imee Marcos said the Filipino subject and other dialects should be taught better in elementary and high school.

The Ilocos Norte politiko made the proposal following the Supreme Court (SC) decision removing the required teaching of Filipino in college.

She also said other local dialects should be made special electives for students.

Kailangang naririyan pa ang Filipino subject,” Marcos said.
