Ilocos Norte Governor Imee Marcos called on critics of Senate President Tito Sotto to “stop the hate.”
The Ilocos Norte politiko was reacting to the supposed “hatred” Sotto received after he was elected as Senate President.
Marcos said Sotto would not have been elected if other senators did not trust his leadership capabilities.
“Hindi ba puwedeng bigyan muna siya ng benefit of the doubt? Why make husga agad, when you hardly see pa his performance as the Senate President?” she asked.
“Hay mga friendship, let’s stop the hate, ‘no? Huwag masyadong road sa ating kapwa. Let’s give him a chance and when we see na super-duper sa pangit ang performance niya, then du’n tayo magtatalak hanggang sa marindi siya at mabuwisit at mag-resign,” Marcos added.
