Pulse Asia’s latest Ulat ng Bayan survey on the 2019 senatorial elections showed Ilocos Norte Governor Imee Marcos is just outside the winning circle of 12 senators.
The Ilocos Norte politiko ranked 13th to 20th.
Marcos has been going around the country hinting about her intent to run for senator.
She has said someone from the Marcos family needs to replace her brother, defeated vice presidential candidate Bongbong Marcos, in the national government.
Bongbong Marcos has an ongoing electoral protest against Vice President Leni Robredo.
According to the survey, if the 2019 elections were held during the survey period, “all the probable winners are either incumbent or former members of Congress.”
