Ilocos Norte Governor Imee Marcos said she is considering running for national office.
The Ilocos Norte politiko made the the statement during the culmination of the Panagbenga Festival in Baguio City on February 24.
She said lamented that former senator Bongbong Marcos’ electoral protest against Vice President Leni Robredo is moving at a snail’s pace.
“The electoral protest filed by Bongbong has not advanced so one of his other siblings may be forced to seek national office, like me,” Marcos said.
Rumors that the Ilocos Norte governor will run for senator earlier leaked because she has been doing the rounds in different provinces recently supposed to “thank” supporters of his brother.
