Ilocos Norte Governor Matthew Manotoc has ordered the implementation of stricter rules to help contain the spread of the coronavirus disease (COVID19).
Ilocos Norte has experienced a continued spike in COVID19 cases recently.
Under Manotoc’s executive order, Authorized Persons Outside Residence (APOR) who are in the province from 72 hours to 14 days will be required to undergo a swab test or a repeat rapid diagnostic test on the fourth to sixth day from arrival.
He also said APORs who will stay more than 14 days in the province must first undergo a 14-day quarantine and undergo a swab test on the fourth to sixth day from arrival.
But the 14-day quarantine will be reduced to 10 days if the APORs test negative.
